Caramel & Sour appletini

Food and good food has always been the topic we have revolved majorly around in our previous articles. However, good food becomes even better when it is paired with a great drink. Then it can vary from a glass of red wine for crimson evening with grills and roasts to a glass of white with a light salad in the afternoon.  A glass of sparkling wine is the biggest compliment to a wedding cake rich with fresh cream and strawberries. A hot summer afternoon just gets relaxed when you sip on a fizzy mojito.
My favourite cocktails would be fruity martinis. I insist that they should be from fresh fruits only and not from crushes or syrups. However, this is my individual take on it. Sometimes I myself end up adding a little MONIN for colour or flavour.  well the advantage of using fruits is the vibrant colors, the delectable taste they impart and lastly less calories of course.
One of such a discovery is the green apple and caramel martini. I tried it out at my restaurant and it turned out to be the perfect blend of flavour and taste. Follow the simple recipe for making the drink

1/2 GREEN APPLE, 5ml OF GREEN APPLE SYRUP (optional)  5ml CARAMEL, DASH OF LIME JUICE, 45ML VODKA
RIM THE MARTINI GLASS WITH CARAMEL, CHILL THE GLASS, MUDDLE GREEN APPLE ADD REST INGREDIENTS VODKA AND ICE. SHAKE WELL WITH LOTS OF ICE. STRAIN INTO THE MARTINI GLASS  CHEERS !!!!!!  -ASMI
